The following scenarios are what each driver would need to accomplish at ISM Raceway in order to clinch a Championship 4 spot, regardless of the finish of any other driver. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Kyle Busch – Busch can clinch with 53 points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner (or a win by Martin Truex Jr. or a non-playoff driver), he would clinch with 28 points. With a win, he would clinch. Martin Truex Jr. – Truex would clinch on points with 55 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner (or a win by Kyle Busch or a non-playoff driver), he would clinch with 31 Points.
